Hotel Commonwealth is a step above for a wedding. My daughter’s wedding and reception was hosted here as a destination wedding from Florida. The hospitality and customer service is top notch! From the moment we contacted the hotel for quotes, Allison Thomas in catering was so helpful and kind. The reception food with their craft kitchen, was delicious and food presentation was beautiful. The guest rooms are huge and beds are comfy! And of course the Fenway view from the balcony is so awesome! I can’t think of anything that was a negative ! Such a classic and classy Boston experience. I just can’t say enough how much we loved the entire weekend here. Thank you again to Allison and the entire staff!

We are so lucky we decided to have our wedding reception at the Hotel Commonwealth! Allison was absolutely amazing to work with throughout the last two years of planning. We live in Scotland, and it made us feel so at ease to know Allison and the Hotel Commonwealth was able to organize so much for us. The food was a definite highlight – a lot of our guests have been saying it’s the best food they have ever had at a wedding! If you are deciding between venues, I would definitely recommend the Hotel Commonwealth, as it made our wedding day smooth sailing and so perfect.

Allison and her team at the Hotel Commonwealth provided first class service starting with our initial inquiry, all the way through the farewell brunch. They were responsive and willing to accommodate any need or request. Even our planner was consistently impressed with Allison and her team, and that’s saying something! Their wedding package is extremely competitive relative to other city venues in terms of what is included and therefore in value. Our guests raved about the catering and hotel staff, the iconic vibe of the event space, and the food. Speaking of the food, it was cooked to perfection and the portions were insanely generous. I lastly want to mention the thoughtful touches from Allison throughout the weekend. They made us feel so special and supported on the most emotional and joyful weekend of our life. We loved having our wedding at the Hotel Commonwealth! The service and level to detail from all of the staff was impressive. Allison was so great to work with – she understood our wishes and visions perfectly and never missed a detail. Thanks to her, the planning process was seamless! Our guests really enjoyed staying at the hotel too, and we received many compliments about now only how well put together everything was, but how amazing the staff were – from the banquet team and kitchen, to the front desk staff and doormen, everyone was so professional and friendly. My husband and I had our winter wedding at Hotel Commonwealth, and it is difficult to overstate how accommodating Hotel Commonwealth was to both our and our guests’ needs. With both the bride and groom’s family flying in from out of town, various travel issues and delayed RSVPs made it difficult to give the hotel a list of people for the room block early on. Whenever someone from our immediate family was suddenly able to make it close to the date of the wedding, Hotel Commonwealth did whatever it took to accommodate them with a room, even extending the parameters of the room block discount for them. Allison Thomas, the venue coordinator, and her team made the entire planning process as seamless as possible. Allison personally coordinated with all of our third party vendors, alongside making sure we knew the kitchen staff by name and could voice our preferences to them. The hotel was as personable as can be imagined, and we highly recommend them for anyone looking for a wedding venue in the Boston area.

If you are looking for a city chic wedding venue with amazing food and iconic Boston views, Hotel Commonwealth is for you! They went the extra mile for us with all of our requests and made the wedding planning process easy. Allison helped us the most in the home stretch and she was awesome[…] The hotel itself is so beautiful (we had our room block here too, best decision), and of course the view of Fenway is iconic. Our guests were BLOWN AWAY by the hotel and the FOOD. Multiple people told us it was the best wedding food they had ever had. We also made a special food request months in advance for one of our guests, and sure enough they didn’t forget and made it happen at the wedding. The pricing for food & open bar was very fair based on our research of other Boston venues[…] Another highlight is the outdoor patio. It was so nice for our guests to be able to get some fresh air during the reception. I could go on and on about how much we loved Hotel Commonwealth for our wedding!
