Although Hotel Commonwealth does not have a rooftop bar, our stunning Fenway Terrace, located on our second floor, is available as a bookable private event space year-round.

When not booked for a private event, it is our pleasure to make the second-floor Fenway Terrace available for our guests to lounge in, and take advantage of our room service dining options.

The hotel is pleased to offer AAA and AARP members special rates.  Proof of membership required at check in.

• The hotel offers laundry and dry-cleaning services, Monday-Friday. Fees apply.

Dogs are welcome with limitations, and each will be offered a doggy bowl, treat, and toy upon arrival!  All guests must adhere to our pet policy agreement.  An additional fee of $150 applies.

Hotel Commonwealth is committed to protecting the environment through multiple initiatives including energy and water saving laundry, the use of phosphate and NPE-free detergents, single-stream recycling, and our in-house Clean Earth Clean Air Program. In addition, we have partnered with BioGreen360 to compost all food waste from our kitchen and event services, making zero-waste events at the Hotel Commonwealth a reality. Plans are underway for a dramatic lobby transformation at Hotel Commonwealth. The new design will bring a modern touch to the hotel’s classic elegance, blending comfort with contemporary style to welcome guests into an inviting, refreshed ambiance. Set to be completed by January 2025, the lobby transformation is inspired by Boston’s rich culture and vibrant energy, elevating the guest experience with refined furnishings, a color palette infused with deep navy, artful décor, and warm lighting.

As the Official Hotel of the Boston Red Sox, the public spaces will also proudly feature Red Sox artifacts and vintage memorabilia. Additional artwork throughout honors the hotel’s origins, including its unique connection to Boston University, along with a historical timeline that celebrates Kenmore Square’s legacy.

Absolutely! There are ample picturesque opportunities both in and around the hotel: dramatic staircases, views of Fenway Park, and an exposed Brick Wall surrounded by natural light that photographs beautifully are all great options. The Commonwealth Avenue Mall is a gorgeous greenway directly across from the Hotel and is another really popular spot for photos.

Although you do not need to book a guest room block to take advantage of our amazing wedding packages we offer luxurious accommodations any of your guests will be sure to love, and sumptuous suites for you and your partner to escape to, or else treat your VIPs to!

Although we do not allow outside catering, our world-class Chef and Culinary team are extremely flexible, and we pride ourselves on customizing amazing menus to better fit your vision.

Special arrangements can be made for receiving any equipment, goods, displays or other materials that will be sent, delivered or brought into the Hotel. Please note that the first 3 packages received will be handled on a complimentary basis, whilst 4 or more packages incur additional charges.

Meetings & events on-site are fully catered by our own culinary team, with a host of menus available to choose from to ensure a successful program. Alternatively, Blue Ribbon Sushi and Blue Ribbon Brasserie feature world-class dining and both are easily accessible via the hotel lobby.

Absolutely! Valet parking is available on-site at a rate of $40 for hotel functions, and $72 overnight. Alternate rates apply on Fenway Event dates.
