This was our first time staying at the Commonwealth hotel and we had an excellent experience. Very close to Fenway. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. Jerry greeted us warmly at check in and check out. We stayed in an executive suite. The room was very comfortable and spacious. We appreciated the little touches like the delicious snacks available at the check-in desk and the cleanliness of the entire hotel. The white noise machine in the room was a nice touch. We ordered room service for breakfast and everything was beautifully presented, delicious and fresh. Again, very clean, polished and top-notch quality. Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. We will surely be back.

Fantastic hotel – especially for Red Sox fans. This hotel is an amazing blend of Boston Pride and luxury. We’ve visited twice now and enjoyed both stays. The staff is friendly and attentive. The hotel is very family friendly and kids feel welcome. The rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable. Two surprises are the baseball elevator and sparkling water on tap! We will always stay at the Hotel Commonwealth when we’re in town for a Red Sox game.

Since we had to drop off our daughter for freshman year at Boston University, this was the perfect choice in terms of location . The hotel is walking distance to Newbury Street, many restaurants and cafés and the best part is that the T ( underground train ) station is almost the adjacent wall to the hotel . The hotel provides a free water station ( still and sparkling ) and a coffee station in the morning which is so useful to travellers . We had booked a double [queen] bedroom and it was very spacious and comfortable. Very polite staff from the doorman to the reception […] We had a great time during our stay , and will definitely be returning soon .

We attended a wedding which happened to be held at the Hotel Commonwealth. This was a very convenient arrangement. From the minute we were greeted at the curb by Valet Steve to our checkout, our time at this hotel was wonderful! The location of this hotel is perfect to see the sites of Boston. And if you are planning on attending a Red Sox game, this is the hotel to stay it. It in fact is the official hotel of the Red Sox. And make sure to check out the one elevator which has autographs of many, many famous baseball players. We made sure to ride that one a few times! We brought our dog with us as well. She was treated like a queen! She was given treats and a doggie toy. There is a small park located across from the hotel. Made dog walking an easy task.

If I had written this review after our stay in August, I would have remembered and mentioned every staff member we encountered by name. They were friendly, professional, helpful and just an absolute pleasure. We were in town for our son’s graduation held at the MGM Music Hall so the location was perfect. We walked to the venue, I ran along the river and enjoyed exploring the area on foot. Our room was a suite and very spacious and comfortable. We will definitely stay at Hotel Commonwealth the next time were in Boston.

This place is special in so many ways! Location is perfect for enjoying exploring Boston. The entire staff are so helpful and friendly. Let’s talk about how beautiful, spacious and well appointed the rooms are. They provide comfy robes and slippers, fluffy towels, luxurious linens and a professional hairdryer. We were warmly greeted by the front desk staff with yummy snacks and a really cool water bottle. We had an amazing view of Fenway Park and the Super Moon occurred during our visit. We dined at Brasserie also, food, drinks and staff all 4 stars. Looking forward to our next trip to Boston and Hotel Commonwealth!

We love this hotel and had another wonderful stay. You are always welcomed with a friendly smile, delicious snacks, and refillable water bottles. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable, and the valet parking is so convenient. Overall, it is an exceptional experience every time.
